HVAC Sales Trainer

We are looking for a results-driven trainer to work directly with our HVAC sales technicians, providing hands-on coaching, real-time call analysis, and in-depth sales training. While HVAC experience is a plus, it’s not required—we’re looking for a proven closer who understands in-home sales and can teach our team how to sell with confidence. If you know how to break down the sales process, improve closing rates, and drive performance, we want to talk to you!
Responsibilities:
- Call-by-call coaching using Rilla (or similar tools) to analyze sales conversations and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with technicians to sharpen their sales skills.
- Spend 2-3 1/2 days weekly in the field shadowing technicians to provide real-time feedback.
- Break down sales numbers and KPIs to track performance and implement strategies for growth.
- Take live calls from technicians in the field, helping them close deals over the phone.
- Adjust training schedules as needed—our goal is to move the needle, not just fill hours!
Qualifications:
- Proven success in in-home sales (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, windows & doors, or similar).
- Strong background in option-based selling and high-ticket sales.
- Track record as a top closer, we want someone who has walked the walk!
- Ability to analyze sales data, break down conversations, and coach with actionable feedback.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure sales teams get the support they need.
- HVAC experience is a plus but not required—sales expertise is what matters most!
